Christmas in Estes Park Colorado – A Feast at Marys Lake Lodge

Marys Lake Lodge and Resort announces their Christmas Day 2007 menu. The meal will be served between 11am and 10pm in The Tavern or the Grandmaison’s Chalet. The Tavern provides a casual environment whereas the Grandmaison’s Chalet is more elegant.
The holiday fest will include Mimosa’s or Champagne, hot apple cider, raspberry shrub or egg nog. Whet your appetite with baked brie en croute, imported olives or fresh fruit and berries. The entrée’s will consist of choices between roast turkey with Canadian style dressing with giblet gravy, baked Virginia ham with roasted pineapple and raisin sauce, Atlantic Salmon with roasted corn and mango salsa, or our famous Prime Rib with au jus and horseradish cream sauce. All entrée’s come with fresh vegetables, potatoes, holiday breads, and rolls.
Second helpings are welcome and the dessert buffet offers pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream, blueberry pie, baked apples, carrot cake, Grandmaison’s bread pudding, chocolate cake, crème Brule, assorted pastries and cheesecake with fresh berries.
Reservations are recommended and live entertainment will be provided by Eric Andersen on Christmas Eve and Day and Classical guitar will be played by James Davis on Christmas Day from 12-4.
